The successful Senior Scheduler is responsible for building and producing detailed CPM Schedules and related planning tools and reports. He/she will be required to update and report such schedules and work product on a routine basis in a format dictated by Project Management. The Senior Scheduler will be capable of independently planning, sequencing and scheduling activities related to small to medium sized projects or studies. He/she should possess a fundamental knowledge of all project activities and their sequence and inter-relationships including: Studies, Preliminary Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Home Office Procurement, Site/ Field Commodity Purchasing, Construction Contracting, Mobilization, Construction, Commissioning, and Start Up and/or any more detailed subset thereof. The individual should be able to perform the individual contribution activities and duties of either a Planner or Scheduler. Petrochemical, Hydrocarbon, Refining and/or related experience is preferred. Detailed knowledge of commercially available CPM Scheduling software products is a prerequisite. Primavera P3e is preferred.

Peer Interfaces: Project Engineers, Buyers, Discipline Engineers, and Lead Designers

III. Basic Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 10 years hydrocarbon, energy, chemical, refining or closely related process industry experience
Fundamental working knowledge of project tactical execution planning, sequencing and scheduling
Proficient knowledge of and experience with commercially available planning and scheduling software systems, Primavera P3e preferred
Demonstrated execution planning experience on mid size capital projects ranging from $10 to 50 Million employing multiple contractors and large direct labor forces
Capable of developing, maintaining, and updating engineering and construction progress measurement tools or sets of metrics whereby construction physical progress can be recorded and any resultant contingency planning identified
Capable of development of CPM Schedules and the maintenance and interpretation of established CPM Schedules
Capable of conducting meetings, managing subordinate resources and communicating time management goals and objectives
At project onset, capable of establishing a Milestone Schedule with minimal input or guidance from others
Familiarization with project cost control and estimating functions in sufficient detail to support the preparation of cost estimates or budget forecasts
