Job Description
I. General Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic operation and technical direction of the Process Engineering Department.
- Support those goals through personnel development and recruiting.
- Conduct periodic performance appraisals of each Process Engineer.
- Manage relationship of the Process Engineering Department with other groups.
- Review technical performance of Process Teams assigned to projects.
- Assist in business development.
II. Reporting and Interfaces
- Functional: Vice President of Operations
- Administrative: Vice President of Operations
III. Basic Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 20 years engineering experience in E&C with minimum of 10 years in supervisory positions.
- Strong technical background in refining, petrochemicals, upstream and midstream processes.
- Familiar with project scheduling and estimating techniques.
- Knowledge of project requirements of other disciplines.
- Interface with clients on a managerial level.
- Experience with proposal development and presentations.
IV. Personal Attributes
- Good communication skills
V. Education/Formal Training
- B.S. Chemical Engineering degree minimum.
- MBA preferred
- Registration preferred
