Job Description
I. General Responsibilities - Work on project teams in the execution of projects.
- Supervise one to three Process Engineers on Project Teams.
- Interface with clients on technical issues.
- Conduct optimization and economic studies.
- Running simulations of process units.
- Hydraulic calculations.
- P&ID development.
- Sizing calculations and specifications of equipment.
- Specify control schemes and instrumentation.
- Facilitate design safety reviews.
II. Reporting and Interfaces - Functional: Lead Process Engineer
- Administrative: Process Manager
III. Basic Qualifications and Experience - Minimum 5 years experience in Process Engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge in Chemical Engineering methods.
- Knowledge of plant utilities and safety systems.
- Knowledge of HAZOP methods.
- Familiar with project requirements.
- Ability to work with other discipline leads.
IV. Personal Attributes - Ability to assimilate large amount of new information.
- Flexible.
V. Education/Formal Training - B.S. Chemical Engineering degree minimum.
- PE preferred.
VI. Advancement Potential- Principle Process Engineer.
- Project Engineer.
