Director – Project Management

Job Description

I.  General Responsibilities

The successful Director-Project Management will be an individual or incumbent who will oversee all project activities performed by Project Managers on EPCM projects.  Provide leadership/management of EPCM projects in a matrix organization.  The Project Director will be responsible for managing the Project Management department.  He/she will be required to staff projects. He/she will support Sales department with proposals and presentations.  Personnel and salary administration will be required. He/She must be able to provide input into work processes for the department and project execution.  He/she must be familiar with and responsible for all aspects of project delivery.

II. Reporting and Interfaces
  • Functional: Reports to VP - Operations
  • Administrative: Reports to VP - Operations
 
 III. Basic Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in project execution with a track record of increasing responsibilities
  • Project experience should be in the E&C industry

 V.  Education/Formal Training
  • Degree in Engineering or other technical field
  • An MBA is highly desirable
